Whitebird's pleased yowl was low and satisfying to her ears alone. With the go ahead now to aid Specklestar in the fight, she could already imagine her claws raking though the tangle of the grey rogue's fur, to his soft flesh. She'd drive him off, or take him out...either way, he was no longer going to stay on their borders. Lithium's warning would do nothing to deter her - after all, when did she ever listen to the threats of rouges.
But just as she crouched to leap - waiting for any small opening so she did not accidentally leap on Specklestar...the tom went limp. Specklestar backed away, still wary, and Whitebird remained the same - rising just enough so she no longer settled into the hunter's crouch. The tom, regaining his head, seemed to have lost his sense of memory - staring perplexedly at the four clan cats.
Whitebird wasn't buying it. Before any other cat could say anything, she hissed, stepping in front of Specklestar; giving her a chance to rest while the tom was confused...or trying to ruse them.
"Don't thing you'll kid us, you rogue! You want out of the fight, hold your tongue and turn your tail and run; don't try and make us think you can forget your bravado and threats - a little too convenient." She wasn't too sure herself - for all she knew, a bump on the head had permanently or temporarily stunned the tom - but she had not gotten to where she was by being sympathetic of an injured stranger. If he had truely forgotten - then he had no reason to remain around here any more.

Lithium's eyes widened. "What are you talking about?" he asked fearfully and shrilly. He knew nothing about fighting skills, and had no idea that the she-cat was about to pounce on him.

Flystar looked at the leader and didnt nod or anything. She needed the help, she didnt have to let her deputy spring on him. She then took her eyes off of the shecat and looked to her deputy seeing her attack with joy. Flystar gave a smile and padded up next to her deputy and stopped her with placing a leg infront of whitebird. She then gave her deputy a look saying, I'll tell you when.... She then looked back at the tom and hissed, "What game are you trying to play..."

Specklestar blinked. She smiled and dipped her head. "Please, come with me," she purred, her fur flattening. She gave a slight wink to the SnowClan deputy and leader before trotting towards Icehaze, keeping her eye on Lithium. Accidentally, she tripped over a rock. Unfazed, she stood rolled back to her feet. She shifted uneasily, waiting to see if Lithium would, in fact, follow her.

Lithium scrambled over his paws to get away from the strange white cat that was about to attack him. "Of course I'll come!" he mewed cheerfully. He trotted to where she met with another strange cat, a light tortoiseshell with ice-blue eyes. "Hi!" he greeted.
Icehaze regarded the gray tom coldly. He knew he was lying, don't ask how, he just knew. "Hello," he replied smoothly. "I'm Icehaze." He flicked his tail at his leader. "This is Specklestar."

Whitebird, as suggested by her leader, stood down. Relaxing just a little bit more, so that the casual observer would not even think she was up to anything save watching the spectacle set before her - an avid play-goer. She was, however, just a little too alert - to raised; and her eyes followed the grey tom as he pranced after Specklestar with an intensity that bordered on obsession.
Save when she turned, a quick glance at her leader, Flystar; trying to convey, without words, her disgust for the tom's evident ruse, as well as her curiosity and the muddle thoughts that chanced around in her head as to why the tom would want to pretend this particular ailment. For the sake of sneakiness, surely...but why memory loss?
Did he expect them to forget what they all had just witness - him attacking Specklestar, threatening them all...making vague and derogatory comments? What did he think they would do, really?

Flystar saw the leader wink at her and she did nothing. She then took her leg away from her deputy and stood on all fours and kept her eyes on what Specklestar was going to do. Flystar narrowed her eyes, she was just about to open her mouth but then saw that nothing was going to come out. She then looked to her deputy then back and saw the tom and the other cats go off. Flystar lashed her tail, what was going on? She gave her head a shake and let out a snort. She then mewed, "Double the patrols..." She didnt take her eyes off of the clan leader that just left and urged the tom to follow. She was on her toes now. If it was memory loss, then it was, but if he wanted to attack again...she had to be ready....

Specklestar smiled sweetly at the tom, or as sweetly as she could. Her vision was beginning to fade as she wavered close to fainting. She glanced at Icehaze, who seemed to narrow his eyes at the intruder. She rolled her eyes and smiled once more, indicating Icehaze to do the same. They were dealing with an insane cat here, and, truly, she knew they had to act insane to get into this tom's mindset.
