[Lovesong]

Meadowdust padded through her territory taking in everything she could around her. The leaves were coming off the trees and it was getting cool each day had passed. Its been a moon since she was named medicine cat and she knew that she was going to be busy with alot of things. She was thankful that she had an apprentice already to! She would need all the help she could this this year. She scanned the ground and padded over fallen twigs and felt the crack of leaves under her paws. A cool wind blew past her lifting her fur and she closed her eyes and took it in. The wind then died down and she opended her eyes and saw what she needed. Yarrow! She bounced to the plant and scanned it over sniffing it just to make sure it was okay. She then smiled and pulled some and took it in her mouth and turned and padded off to look for more.

Icehaze sniffed. MoonClan cat nearby. Lovesong's scent. He padded towards it.
"Lovesong?" he called.
Ooof!
He bumped into something small and furry.
"Sorry!" he said, getting up and shaking his ruffled tortoiseshell pelt.

[Lovesong]

Lovesong felt something hit her, almost knocking her off her paws. She then looked over to see what it was. A cat. Icehaze. Lovesong gave a smile and shook her fur. "Its okay love." she mewed with a sweet smile. She never had the heart to yell. She then looked at the warrior and tilted her head and wondered why he was out here.

{Love? -confused- LOL.}

Icehaze nipped on one of his claws. "Oh, just, you know, hunting," he meowed. "Except I kinda, er, scared all the prey away." He grinned faintly. A tuft of splotched pelt still stuck up on his shoulder, but he didn't care. Icehaze never really fussed with his fur, unless it got muddy. Uck.
"So," he said, "I guess I'll leave you alone to deal with your--um--?" He waited for Lovesong to give him the herb's name.

[Lovesong]

Lovesong gave a purr and got up and mewed, " I was acutally just about to head home. If you would like to join me I would like that very much" Her eyes were soft as she spoke and she was very relaxed around her clan. She was very happy here. She sort of forgot why she even came out here. It was nice that another cat was out. She now didnt feel so alone now.

[flamingdawn]

"Uh, okay!" Icehaze said, a little too loudly. A woodpecker screeched and took off.
"I guess no more prey around here," he muttered. His paws moved to the right, the direction of the camp.

[Lovesong]

Lovesong gave a smile and walked step in step with the warrior looking around seeing the levaes fall of the trees. She then looked at the warrior and thought. He's a lively cat isnt he? she then looked away and smiled and asked, "You have an apprentice yet?"

Icehaze shook his head. "Not yet," he answered. He suddenly jumped up and snatched a leaf out of the air. Falling back down, he blushed. Only kits do that, he told himself. But he liked catching leaves. It made him feel satisfied, almost like a kit again, next to Stripedbee.... He shuddered as he though of his shunned mother. Foxclaw and Lilystorm were still in the Clan, but Stripedbee had tried to kill them, so she had been exiled forever.

{OOOOH! Next prophecy, after they overthrow Lithium, should be Stripedbee taking revenge on the Clans, eh?}

Lovesong padded on and watched the warrior jump up and catch a falling leaf. A sparkle of joy lit her eyes and she gave a smile. She guessed that their was la little bit of a kit in everyone. Lovesong then looked up at saw more leaves falling. She then took a runing start and jumped in the air and cought a leaf in her mouth and landed on the ground softly and looked back at the warrior and smiled with the leaf in her mouth. She blushed. What kind of a medicine cat was she? She then dropped the leaf and looked away and mewed, "Sorry..."

Hearing Lovesong apologize, Icehaze said, "Mah, don't worry. Eveyrone has to have some kit left in them."
"Of course they do," a snide voice hissed.
The tortoiseshell whipped around, attempting to pinpoint the voice with his giant ears. He called out, "Who are you? Show yourself!"
"Ah, I'm afraid that won't be necessary, Icehaze, warrior of MoonClan." And a small gray cat padded out between two holly bushes.
"Who am I?" the cat echoed. "Why, I am Lithium, leader of the Tribe of Midnight Frost." Lithium sneered.
"What's that?" Icehaze asked stupidly. He blocked Lovesong from the cat's gaze, his hackles bristling.
"What's what? The Tribe of Midnight Frost is my best friend, and your worst enemy, dear warrior," Lithium replied smoothly. His voice was intoxicating, like honey on a smoke scorched throat. His eyes were like pools of sun, a pale amber. icehaze shook his head again, clearing the mist forming around his head. This cat had powers! The power to intoxicate you into doing what he wants!
"Lovesong," he muttered to the she-medicine cat. "Whatever you do, do not look into his eyes."
Lithium laughed gently. "That's why they call me Lithium, Icehaze. And Lovesong, look at me. Do I look harmless? If not, why not join me? Leave this band of rogues and join the Tribe of Midnight Frost. We could use a talented medicine cat like you." Lithium knew it was a downright lie, and this cat would never fit in. He would most likely murder her within in next moon if she joined. She was useless.

[Lovesong]

Lovesong gave a smile then stopped and heard a voice. She looked around and growled. She wached what was happening and saw that Icehaze was blocking her eyes for protection. She was glad he was doing so. She then gave a growl when he brouht up her name.

"That's why they call me Lithium, Icehaze. And Lovesong, look at me. Do I look harmless? If not, why not join me? Leave this band of rogues and join the Tribe of Midnight Frost. We could use a talented medicine cat like you."

Lovesong didnt look into his eyes but simply replied, "I like where I am now thank you. I dont intend on leaving any time soon. Or ever for that matter. My talent lies in Moonclan. no where else." Her tail lashed from side to side and her blue eyes were hard yet didnt look at the tom. She stayed behind her felow warrior for help and to make sure she was goingto be okay. She listened to Icehaze and would do as she was told by her own warrior. Not some cat that she didnt know.

"Come on," the warrior mumbled to Lovesong, nudging her away. "Let's go tell Specklestar what happened." Icehaze examined Lithium one last time with icey blue eyes, and then padded away into the forest.

Lithium called, "I'll see you again, Lovesong, Icehaze! We shall meet again!" And with that, he took off in the opposite direction of the MoonClan cats, heading back towards his own territory.

[Lovesong]

Lovesong did as she was told and padded after the warrior yet keeping very close to him just to make sure that everything was going to be okay. She thought about that strange cat now and padded home ready to tell her leader what happened.

"So," Icehaze mewed. His voice was brittle. He was still weak from the powerful mist that came from Lithium's eyes. "What should we tell Specklestar? That there's a mad cat on the loose, planing to destroy the Clans."
He paused. "You know, I could tell what he was thinking, Lovesong. It's like I can sense thoughts, you know. I think - I think he was planning to kill you if you joined him." He gulped. They couldn't loose their medicine cat!

[Lovesong]

Lovesong stopped in her tracks and looked at her warrior and then looked away. She then looked up and mewed, "Well, its all in the eyes about what a cat thinks, not their actions." She serached the warriors eyes then mewed, "Well, no we cant tell her that. Let me think about it and I'll tell her.." She looked away thinking how this was even going to happen.

Icehaze mused for a bit. "Well, we could tell her that there is a cat on our territory that we should be aware of," he meowed.

{We should have Specklestar come in, and say "I already know about that cat. Yes, he's making a preposition that we have to meet him at dawn on the Lowrock." Cuz she's already seen Lithium.}

[Lovesong]

Lovesong nodded and mewed, "I'm alright with that"

Icehaze approached the camp and halted. "So.... Ready?" he asked the medicine cat.

[Speckel-Lady o' Rebel/Mischeif]

"I already know about that stupid mouse-brain Lithium!" Specklestar stepped out of the shadows in front of Icehaze and Lovesong. She smiled coldly without emotion. There was an ever so slight sliver of despise in her eyes.

Icehaze jumped as Specklestar appeared out of some bushes. "Oh, hi, Specklestar. You already know? How?" Thank StarClan I didn't have to tell her! he added silently.

[Speckel-Lady o' Rebel/Mischeif]

Specklestar's ear twitched in amusement, but none of it reacher her eyes. The MoonClan leader paused for a moment, calculating Icehaze's relief. Nodding to Lovesong in acknowledgement, she returned her absent blue gaze to Icehaze. Several sparks still fly inside them, but they were slowly fading into passive shadows. "Met him. Rat head wants us to visit him at dawn." The leader's lip curled in disgust. She despised the tom, except her feelings were more than just despise. They were pure, unrelented rage. "At Lowrock," she added quietly, a hidden snarl in her voice. Oh how she despised the rat!

[flamingdawn]

Icehaze swallowed. "So, this - Lithium - he wants to meet you at Lowrock at dawn?" The splotted tom's voice was faint.
"Well," he went on more strongly. "I'll come with you, Specklestar. What if you need backup? What if Lithium brings an army of other cats?"

[Speckel-Lady o' Rebel/Mischeif]

"You can come if you wish. Frostedjay as well, but that is all. I'm not a coward." Specklestar glanced at Icehaze, blue eyes still giving off the faint heat of annoyance. She smiled faintly, trying to calm herself down. "We need to keep our warriors at camp."

[flamingdawn]

The warrior nodded. he knew Specklestar was annoyed, and he didn't want to get her more angry. "Yes, Specklestar. I know you're not a coward. If you were, you wouldn't be such a great leader!
"And should I tell Frostedjay for you?" Icehaze asked.

[Speckel-Lady o' Rebel/Mischeif]

The leader glanced at Icehaze and smiled. Icehaze was the deputy Frostedjay wasn't... She still couldn't remember the reason Frostedjay was deputy. Shaking her head, she looked at the ground, her fur prickling from embaressment. "Thanks, Icehaze." Looking up again, she added, "No I'll tell the arrogant tom." She smiled lightly.

"Okay," Icehaze replied. He could sense the embarrassment on his leader, which surprised him. Why would she be embarrassed..? he wondered, dipping his head to Specklestar, with the thought still on his mind as he left for the warriors' den.

[Lovesong]

Lovesong saw her leader walk out from the shadows and she sat down silent. She let the two cats talk and knew she would stay and watch if anything was needed. She took her eyes from Icehaze to her leader and back at Icehaze. She kenw her leader was strong and could do anything she pleased with out a problem. She sat patitently and waited if she was needed in this conversation.

((She doesn't recieve compliments very well. XD Insults, she can take square in the bum and fire 'em back... But compliments..... She's just bad.))

Specklestar glanced at Lovesong. "How's the herb supply? I can gather some for you if you need it." She added secretly, A great way to change the topic.. She smiled politely at Lovesong, the anger disappearing from her eyes more quickly now that the topic was different.

[Lovesong]

Lovesong looked at her leader and was able to read her very well. She saw the anger from her eyes fade away and lovesong was silten for a moment. She thought about her herb supply and thought of what she needed. alot of things. She then blinked at her leader and shook her head and mewed, "No, I'm okay Specklestar. You worry about what you have to, i'll be okay." She then gave a sweet smile back to her leader knowing that she could play this game also.

[Speckel-Lady o' Rebel/Mischeif]

The leader dipped her head. "Just tell me if you need help," Specklestar remarked, her eyes twinkling. She had, after all, been a medicine cat apprentice before a regular apprentice. She knew most of the herbs pretty well. The leader smiled and glanced around, wondering what else to say. She'd noticed Lovesong's sweet smile and returned a cheerful one. No matter if the Lithium-cat might kill her; her Clan was much stronger than it looks.
