Appearance: Shadow has short pitch black fur. He is almost always wearing a gaze-into-space look on his face. He has large purple eyes (Rare, yes, but not impossible.) He is skinny, for a kittypet, and is somewhat agile. He keeps his silky fur well groomed, so, over all, he is a nice looking cat.

Personality: Shadow is somewhat bored with life. He wants some excitement. He has a bad attitude, but he can still be affectionate. He keeps secrets well, because he tends to avoid conversation. His idea of a good life is being left to his own business, and has scratched his owners more than once. He has heard of the clans, and has thought of joining them. In the end, he hates the idea of having to support someone other than himself.
History: He was born in a illegal breeding setup. When it was busted by animal rights, one of the more greedy employees saw his eyes and planned to sell him. In the end, he was sold to a rich women who had more money than she knew what to do with. He ran away, soon to be caught by a poor family. They fed him, but that's about it. Most of his life after that was spent in the backyard.
